Port help

ok so i got Killing Floor today and my friend and i wanted to play on a server w/o having to worry about other people joining. so i clicked Host game and i made a password protected server. But when he tries to join all he gets is "Server not responding" I might need yo enable my ports for it to work. I how do i enable ports?

depends on a lot of things,

First is it your network that your connecting to. (e.g. not a college campus or public spot)

2nd if your answer to above is no then, Are you using a router or direct connect to the modem?

3rd. what brand Modem/router

4th do you have access to a startpage for the router or modem (e.g. mine is 192.168.1.254)

You need to access your routers setting page, it should be accessible to your home networks IP address, something around hte lines of 192.168.1.1 or of that nature, and you will need the password. This might be found on the underside of the router or on a label on the router.
