Please i need lots of help to find the right pc thatll last for a long time ._. Please add me on steam or on eGO webiste. Cuz ill have millions of questions ^^ ty

The first question i have ( that will save me tons of money is) Is the Core i7 worth buying? Quad? Duo? which one is good and cheap. What are the GHz for?

well we need to know what you plan to do with it. the quad core cpus are more for multitasking than anything else. dual cores are mostly for gaming (even tho most games arent built for dual cores yet, but some are). so overall its really a matter of what you plan to do w/ it. also please give us your steam name or your email address so we can add you. aznmodernwarfare2 isnt in the system, so need more helpful info.

Well my steam name is Name_man <--- Was made 5 years ago ._.

Im going to use it for school and Gaming use. and im wondering what PSU i should use for a ATI HD 5870

Ya you could use that, but I would suggest a min of 500w, esp w/ a 5000 series ati video card. its pretty new, not to mention what your cpu is, memory, hard drive, etc. gotta take all of that into effect.

If you don't Overclock don't get an I7. If you want to have it last long it's going to cost some money. 400-500 bucks for a video card should be good. GTX 295, ATI 5870,

got it so no i7 if not overclocking. so do i do Duo? or Quad? and is AMD worth it? ppl say its Price performance ratio is good but there performance itself sucks.

ty soldier xD

I would get a C2D, as many people have stated, for gaming, you don't need more than that. I would stay away from AMD, they haven't been good in a long time.

O.o

And that's all I'm going to say.

And yes, a 5970 is the best card on the market for like $700

hey chapped, i myself have a c2d e6750 & im sure most guys that play games in the clan use c2d, if not c2q. i recently got my mom an amd athlon dual-core, but im sure its either the adapter (4-8pin power connector) that i need, or another psu, since it wont come on.
