For Christmas i was bought a abs az1 since i asked for a headset, the sound is extraordinary. But there was one problem that had me baffled and did not know how to fix it. Here it is, on my old headset a cheap 15 dollar logitech the mic worked fine and my voice came through without being low or having a strange crackaling sound. This is what is happening when my mic is hard to hear it comes through fine but then when it gets louder there is this crackle or kind of interference, so how do i fix these issues? Thanks

By crackle, for example, do you mean like when you put the bass up really high on a song and get that breaking noise from the speakers(using low quality speaks, or ipod headphones)?

Blackbird I don't think this is his problem, as he said his other mic works fine (Computer wont know the diff between which mic is plugged in so same settings regardless.)

Lifty it is possible that you got a defective headset. Let me check the manufacter's site really quick to see if they have any suggestions for fixes and if not I will get you info for exchanging the headset for a new one.

*edit*
Just saw that this is a USB headset. Try plugging into a different USB port and reinstalling the drivers from the disc that should have been included with the headset. If this does not fix the issue try downloading the newest drivers from ABS @ http://www.abs.com/support/headsetdriver.asp

If this doesn't fix the issue you will need to speak with an ABS tech support rep (contact info is on their site) They should be able to provide further troubleshooting related to this specific product and provide a replacement if necessary.
