Here is the news post made by D1gN1tY @ Finalbattleground.com about their newly updated Battle System:
The new build is up! At long last, we are pleased to finally release the new Battle format. It’s taken us over a year and a half to build this new system from the ground up, and you will hopefully have as much fun playing it as we have had creating it.
You may notice some immediate changes to the site.
Supporters
Supporters now receive 300% more Plinks for every kill on Counter-Strike Servers and are therefore a much more valuable asset to any clan. This will also give smaller dedicated clans an opportunity to compete against some of the larger, more powerful Clans that clearly have more earning/ spending power. You may have Supporters that would not participate in matches but have incredible Plink earning power on the public servers, so we recommend that you treat them nicely.
The Clan Charts
With the opening of the Battles, all Matches are now played over territories. A new set of Clan Charts are now in place, based on the results of the all new matches. We still have the previous Clan Charts, but they are not visible and will not likely be used in the future.
Clan to Clan Plink Transfers
Clans can now transfer Plinks to other Clans. This has been one of the most suggested/ requested changes for a long time and it may prove particularly useful for those clans who wish to collaborate in the efforts to dominate the world.
Previous Clan Plink transactions have been cleared so that we can incorporate some of the new details on the states.
Please note: There is no limit to the number of Plinks that a Clan can transfer to another clan. Of course, this functionality also threatens to better serve those members that wish to sabotage or compromise another clan. As ever, we recommend that you act diligently and promote other members in your clan with care. The restriction on clans transferring plinks to individual users will remain in place.
Permissions
The Privacy Tab has now been renamed to ‘Permissions’ and there are numerous configurations available to ensure that your Clan members can assist you with the Battles including: The ability to attack, supply, abandon or modify territories, define matches servers, confirm matches, raise disputes and receive Battle notification emails etc.
Please take the time to review these permissions as soon as possible to ensure that all of the members of your clan have the appropriate level of power and authority.
Matches
The Matches tab now allows you to select any of the Battles that your clan has entered and view all of your upcoming and completed Matches. This information is also available in the Battles interface.
If you have previous matches pending, awaiting acceptance or results from the Old Plink Wagering Match system, those Plinks will be refunded to you.
Battles
The Battles page now offers you a choice to view/ enter two Battles initially. One has been setup for Clans that play in North America and the other for Europe.
If you ever participated in the old battles, you will be pleasantly surprised to see that the entire world is now available for the taking, as opposed to a restricted map of Europe or North America etc.
Should you choose to participate in either Battle, it is important to choose wisely. The Match times played during European hours and under European Pings will be unsuitable for North American clans and vice versa.
Both Battles are for Clans with a minimum of 5 players. In order to register the results of your matches (and therefore capture territories) you are going to need a minimum of 5 FBG registered members.
These two Battles have been setup based on our current analysis of demand. Depending on the number of requests we receive, we will be in a position to open up new Battles in the future (wherever required) for Pings in the Middle East/ Asia/ Australia etc as well as Battles that involve 2 vs 2 Clan Matches (as opposed to 5 vs 5 matches).
The objective of the Battles is simply: Dominate the world. To achieve this, you need to accrue 10,000 Leaderboard points. Capturing and holding territories will earn Leaderboard points, but the amount you will earn differs greatly. Also, some Territories do not begin earning Leaderboard points until you have ‘Secured’ the territory from the NPC Militia. All of the territories in the Battles are initially occupied by NPC’s (Non-Player-Controlled) entities called: Miltia. Once a territory has been ‘secured’, Leaderboard points are automatically awarded to the clan that owns the territory (and any other clan that takes the territory over in the future).
Choose your territories wisely. Some territories are quick to secure but are hard to defend (with penalties imposed for oversupplying defending Troops), others may take longer to secure and may cost more to attack initially, but will ultimately give the most Leaderboard points.
When you click to ‘View’ a Battle, you will have access to the Battle Interface and you will be able to view all 2973 territories across the world. If you decide to join a Battle and you find that you cannot Attack any territories, it is because the ‘Challenge Period’ has not begun.
All Battles involve 4 Periods played over a weekly cycle.
The Challenge Period is a timeframe (typically 20:00 Friday to 20:00 Saturday) during which you can issue challenges against Militia or other clans. At the end of the challenge period, the Clan which issued the most troops for that Challenge will either capture the territory from the militia and become the new owner OR it will create a Match challenge between your clan the existing clan that owns the territory.
The Confirmation period (typically 20:00 Saturday to 18:00 on Sunday) will require BOTH clans (the attacker and the defender) to confirm the Challenge, proposed match time, map etc. It is extremely important that Clans confirm matches as failing to do so by the end of the Challenge period will result in your clan losing the match by default.
The Match period normally takes place between 18:00 on Sunday and 06:00 on Friday. During this time, you will play all of your confirmed scheduled matches (if any). You will NOT be able to initiate further attacks against new territories until this period has ended.
The Supply period is the final Period (beginning at 06:00 Friday morning and lasting only until 20:00 on Friday night). During this time, you will have the ability to prepare for the upcoming challenge period by supplying additional Troops to your territories (thereby decreasing the chances of getting attacked by another clan or at least acting as a strong deterrent). The supply period also gives you the opportunity to withdraw troops from a territory, allowing you to mount stronger attacks against new territories or perhaps balance the defence of your other territories.
You can view more details about the Battles in the Final Battleground Wiki: http://wiki.finalbattleground.combut this should be enough to get you started.
On behalf of all of us here at Demonic Gaming: Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm, you have been our inspiration for the last 3 years that it’s taken us to develop Final Battleground.
Play hard, play fair, good luck and have fun!

P.S. If you find any bugs or problems (and with nearly 51,000 players this is likely) - please don't post them here. Log a Support Ticket. It will allow us to make sure that everything get's taken care of correctly.
