Now that we are a few hours away from 2010, we can look forward to brand spanking new Video games to sink our teeth in. Personally, I can't wait for Battlefield Bad Company 2, Batman Arkham Asylum 2, RUSE, and a few more tasty titles. Of course, all of the games I listed are going to be purchased by me for the PC. Seems like 2010 is getting off to a great start.

But lets take a look back at 2009. Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands, etc. Great games right? Of course. But these games had a dark secret that developers failed to share. For one, no one expected the announcement of no dedicated servers/custom tools for MW2, or for Gearbox, a company that makes great PC games, to delay a PC DLC for a month and release it without making an announcement. What I am trying to say is, 2009 was not the best year for PC titles.

Do you have games you are eager to get? Are you gearing towards Consoles more now that companies will support them faster?
 
I can't wait until Bad Company 2 comes out. The beta should be released right after New Years for PC.

And, Halo Reach should be interesting to see.
 
cant wait for battlefield!! and starcraft 2 but im pretty sure blizzard is going to delay it again
 
i am extremely eager for 2 MMORPGs to be released. those being Dragonball Online. Yes im a huge DBZ fan and always will be, and i cannot wait for this game to be released, i've been waiting like 3 years. Second is All Points Bulletin. I forgot who mentioned it where i noticed but man this game looks AMAZING.

also assassins creed 2 comes on for PC. Aliens vs Predator, another C&C game
 
Yeah, this year sucked for PC-gaming. OMG PIRATES LET'S RUIN OUR GAMES.
ETC.
But 2010.. should prove to be a good year to be a pc-gamer once more. I for one don't own a console, because I just sunk 1,1k to game on the PC so I'm looking forward to the following titles;

- Assassin's Creed 2 - Unlike other companies (Rockstar), Ubisofts' PC-port of this game should be alright, as it was with the first game.

- Dead Rising 2

- Just Cause 2

- RUSE (kinda)

- BF: BC2

- Batman Arkham Asylum 2

- Bioshock 2

- Mass Effect 2

Quite a bit of playing to do I'm afraid. :&
 
It looks like a mighty fine year.

Also a new CoD game should drop this year. It'd be Treyarch, I know, but still...
 
Definitely looking forward to Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2

Hopin to get into possible betas:

SW:TOR,
Diablo III
Blade and Soul
Guild Wars 2
and maybe even the Torchlight MMO beta.
etc.

I'm an avid Dragonball fan, but man the idea of an mmo scares me.

In order to reach Super Saiyan, you must go to the forest and kill 1,447,394 squirrels. Scary indeed.

there is no saiyan or super saiyan - but it still looks wicked in my opinion. i just really want to fly around and blast things with energy and super fast combo things to death. the videos they have of it look decent now. i don't think it would be worth an MMO with a monthly fee (which it probably will have) but i'd probably play it for awhile anyway just because its DB
 
Seems like there are some good games coming out for PC in the upcoming year. IMO it won't take much to surpass this year.
 
Bioshock 2 (but will only buy it when it's on sale cause i'm tight). Borderlands DLC. HL2 ep3. And on the subject of mega late HL, why not ask for battlezone 3 XD (that would be TOO good).

And no, I have invested too much in my PC to change to console, and it's worse. I can't list all the reasons why, would take about an hour.
 
When Portal 2, and HL Ep3 come out, I will be satisfied. All the other games are just...Placeholders.

By the way can I interest you in some shares on a Bridge between New York City and Brooklyn? With enough stockholders banding together you could charge tolls and cleanup.

And I'm really looking forward to the 2 big RTSes coming out this year. Starcraft 2 and C&C4. Both look like they'll be great, but I'll probably pick up C&C4 early and wait on SC2.

I'm looking forward to Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Crysis 2 (which is apparently coming out, though I'm expecting a delay). As far as the consoles, my newest console is a Gamecube. So I'm going to stick with my computer.

Halo Reach is going to be garbage, they're not spending time on the games, just pumping them out to make money.

BF:BC2
APB
Just Cause 2
Modern Warfare 3
Etc.
