i have Xfire......but who uses that thing still??? i just use steam friends list or something

as for the bi-tech review.......yea thats quite interesting how 2xintake doesn't help much. I think they hit a wall or something, its also not a hugee overclock, their voltage is only like 1.3V and it's at 3.6ghz which is like nothing for that processor. Im pretty sure when they up the voltage and push that processor to like 4.0ghz you may see some differences between 1xintake and 2xintake as the fluid will be much hotter. They only stopped at 3.6ghz because the stock intel cooler couldn't go any further.

'Attempt' to install? I am offended, sir.

lol yikes i wouldn't put all of your components on carpet like that
but ya thats pretty sweet. i see you have it setup as 1 fan for exhaust. any temp recordings and differences from before installation etc?
how bendy are those hoses, i know they are medal with the plastic over top...they pretty flexible?

nice monitor

Thanks but its only 1360x768, so its not that great.
getting my 1920x1080 24" monitor today, though :D

Lol I made sure to ground myself before I touched anything else.
Before I had it in, I idled at about 20-22C (my temps where all over the place, sometimes it was at 10C, but that was rare. Awesome, but rare)
And now I idle at 8-11C, and I'll get load temps when I get back from school.

man it must be cold in your joint - just by the temp of your gpu/hdd i can tell the ambient is colder than most, but those are still rocking temps.

you should put the fan on the other side to make it a push instead of pull

you usually have the first fan as push if your running single but then if you add a fan along the way you make it a pull........having a single fan as push is better than having a single fan as pull i think but im not sure, someone may correct me if im wrong

that is set up for 1x exhaust push. its sucking air from the inside of the case and pushing it through the rad and out the back of the case. should add a second fan between the case and rad as a pull, shooting air out the back also....would probably help, but with those temps it really doesn't matter, you don't need higher performance

Eh, I'm used to it. Its not that cold, really. Mid 40s. Fahrenheit, of course.

Load temps

I checked it before I left (it was at load for around 20 minutes) and the temp was 22C, and these are from way after the benchmark was done.

Its a massive improvement from the mid 30's to low 40's from the stock cooler.

Oh hmm, like I have been advocating the WHOLE time?

actually.........Corsair recommends you make the fan an intake, there are also tests out there where making it an intake makes it perform better than making it an exhaust for some reason

so basically, do wat im saying and make it push air into your case instead of the usual exhaust and pushing it out, according to Corsair, you should do it my way and you will see better performance........atleast from wat they say and a couple reviews show
