As you all know I play mainly Kalt, I find the regular player's are as much EGO oriented as we are. they obey the rule's and tell other player's to obey, they help where they can with advice on the game and keyboard setting's etc.
But occassionally like last night I played Avalanche, about 4 pm my time, it was chaotic one player going on about politic's, the team was telling him to stop, I asked him twice not to talk politic's but he ignored me. So he went, another player accusing player's of hacking, he was told earlier in Kalt not to do that, so he went. All I wanted was a quite game before my dinner. The bottm line I suppose is we need more admins on late at night. :confused1:
 
you should be on Kalt at like 12 at night thats the time i can usually get a couple of banned for racist talk its ridiculous
 
LONDON... one problem is it dies after 2am... however during the day, I agree with you on the topic of everyone abiding by the rules~ I've come across some obnoxious folks during the late hours on eGO servers. When I play during late hours I'm helpless :( but if we can add the votekick/voteban feature it might be sufficient! :)
 
west 4pm my time is 2-4 am your time and I play every day, the vote/kick would be no good as the trouble makers would pick on any one who they dont like, and I am assuming the admin?
 
Assuming the admin? also I'd add you next time, since you are on during the late hours, and I can bug u a bit~ :P
 
If you like being accused of hacking, avalanche is the place.

Also, there are those trolls popping up every now and then.
 
Votekick / Voteban are very good tools for players, if used properly. I know when I had my own server for CSS and had the votekick/voteban features, I'd get PM's saying that people have been banned for absolutely no reason because players gang up on specific players for no reason. It is a neat tool though.

You can remedy that by increasing the percentage required to instantiate a kick or ban, but in CSS lord knows you could probably get unanimous decisions.

Either way, we'll never leave it up to our pubs to administer the servers. When the time comes where we don't have any admins on our servers for long stretches of time, well, I suspect we won't have those servers for long since the division would be dead...

The solution to late-night offenders is the solution to all offenders: admin coverage. If you're an e or a concerned pub and you play late find as many European eGs or eGOs and add them to your Steam friends list. Hop in vent to find ANY admin with the game and they'll help you out. You have all the tools at your disposal to report violations and do your best to resolve them.
 
the voteban feature is good in a way, but in sense its not a good tool at all, like people ban others for absolutly no reason. but i agree we need a few more admins on in the later times.
 
I'm European and I suppose I am on when its late at night there.

If we used that kindof tool on eGO servers the problems is people will use it just to kick the guys that cna play good and accuse them of "hacking" or just kick them for no reason. I would understand the issue of Racism, Mic Spams, and the non stop Swearing...but people would probably just abuse it
 
I got a great idea, lets close the servers down from midnight to 6 AM!!!! LOL, Im just kidding:) Lets face it, punks are like muggers and other thugs, they feast when most of the good people are asleep.
