Avatar 3-D

Yeah, normally I would be worried about a sequel being stupid like The Matrix trilogy, but Cameron is a great film maker that gets things right. The one issue I could see arising is that, to get things right, he might take a long time to make it.

That is funny chocolate, much like the Harry Potter/Star Wars synoposis.

I wouldn't mind if it took a bit longer, as long he does it right. Which he will. :)

Disliked this movie.. Probabily cause I watched it online.

That would do it. I couldn't even imagine watching any film online. If you have the money go to the theater. Much better experience watching in the theater then watching it from someones Camera with lowQ.

Watching any film, especially Avatar online, FTL. :glare:
Even watchig it in your own house, with a big TV would be better. :)

So you're saying watching the movie in Low Quality ruins it? Then I'll pass. Great movies don't need Special FX to be enjoyable. May I point out Schindler's List?

Schindler's List wasn't recorded in the theaters by some bad camera was it?

It needs to be seen on the big screen in 3D. This film deserves your 12 bucks....

Looking forward to the next two.

For those of you who didn't bother going to the theater and streamed instead -- too bad for you. This film was created for its visual effects, and believe me it was breathe taking. It was definitely worth the $14.50, and I would see it again given the opportunity.

No, but it, like many movies focused on telling a story. (some original, some not.) The meat of the film is just that, the meat of the film. Not the fluff (SFX) that comes with it. As everyone is saying that Avatar is not enjoyable watching it one a monitor, than that would lead one to believe that the movie's main characteristics are the visual effects, not the story. Whereas Schindler's List is viewed in Black & White, (and red) and is a powerful movie if watched on the silver screen or a monitor.

It's like buying a game with unoriginal gameplay, but with killer graphics. Essentially it's more fun watching someone play it than actually playing it.

This movie was amazing, In fact, I think i'll go see it tomorrow :D

By the way...
Warning! Anyone displaying overly knowledgeable knowledge concerning or relating to the Avatar franchise may (will) be labeled 'Avatard'. Thank You :P

Don't let Zergspower know about this thread ;)

great effects, but dead serious i was just waiting for it to end, very boring, and yea i guess its all 'cutesy' for the couples, but not a good movie in the sense of the story
