ok.... return of the liveing error

ok.. i had a problem a waile back.... when ever i try ed to load a game.. like.. DAOC or my steam pannel.. i got a error... or .. something

just like when you load a webpage without internet....... i get that page for my community and my store, this will also happen to me with my games.. and internet explorer.... but not for firefox.. ?

. thoes who know WOW they have to go to a play now little screan.. and it takes you to the game....yeah.. i am getting the not loading page error on that as well..... D;.... that is just a small little loading page for updates.

i had this problem earyler with only my Steam pannel.. but now it is with a lot more stuff.. and i dont think it is the same problem... D;.....

if anyone got any help on how i can make my comp better .. would be sweet :D ty

Do you now, or have you ever used a Norton product? If so, there is a known issue. Part of the coding in your registry that lists required TCP/IP functions is edited during Norton installs and NOT removed during uninstalls.

Please stop using so many periods in your post please, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but it kind of hurts my eyes.
 
You're not using a firewall or have windows firewall blocking it, do you?
 
I used to have this problem.. I don't remember what I did but make sure you don't have any unknown programs running so check your processes
 
Try going into your firewall settings and unrestrict the internet, assuming you have a firewall.
