Hey everyone! I finally got around and learned how to make my own gameplay video, and I wanted to share my first attempt! I'm quite proud how the end was, so please feel free to comment on it! Enjoy!

I am alone in my dorm right now at 1:00 AM and the music is freaking me out. Other than that nice headshots. :)

i hav to say the skills werer great and some of the editing was great. to much slow mo tho only use slow mo on something that is just supppppa epic. good vid tho

great gameplay video; the music however was alright but i wouldnt say the best music choice for a tf2 GP Video. But what i did like about your music was that the rhythm matched the way you played with the slow mo effect. And it was great editting.
Good gameplay vid dude

Way to much slowmo for my taste, nice kills though. Next time when thinking about using effects, less is more in my opinion. Cant wait to see more from you :).

don't listen to those 2 dead ringers, they conspire together. :)

Spies Like Us, starring Frisky and Kotah. hehe

the slow-motion and such is always nice for that nostalgic, 'most memorable moments of...' kind of feel

effects are a good thing too, dont listen to frisky. ;)
only thing i might suggest is easing the effects in and out more, so theyre less abrupt at times maybe. (after effects: easy ease keyframes, slow the motion of the effect for the start or end 10-20% of the transition maybe)

maybe fading the opacity in and out a little at the start and end of them as well, or the playback speed if possible... like 25% speed at the start of the effect transition, and upon completion the clip plays at 75%... would probably be a pain to do with the source demoui but, would look rather giggity if accomplished. :)

sorry if that's a little vague or confusing, my memory of AE and such is a bit hazy.

not a bad little video. look forward to seeing more.

Good video, I'll take a couple of the techniques for my frag video that I'm about half done with, thanks ;)

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback!

As for the slow-mo, Beaver really hit the mark, I was going for a highlights of the past reel. As for the effects, I kinda used them to stand out the slow mo parts with the more dramatic parts in the end, but I did feel at some point I maybe might've used them a bit too freely.

I'm still getting used to the editing program I got (Corel Visual Studio 12) so I'm pretty sure there's a way to change speeds midclip like Beaver mentioned. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it!

yep i think you sould make a frag video. i would watch it the skills are there with some editing it could be really good

Nice Video Duce!
I actually liked the music. It went well with the slow motion imo.

4.5/5. I took .5 points off because it was entirely in slow-mo.

i appreciate the style you used with the slow mo and the song used with it but to me it just makes it feel like a 10 min movie rather then the 3 mins it actually was Q.Q
