Get your name engraved in time, read below.



I need some voice clips for Failjail v2. If you remember starscream did the voices on the last version and im looking for some fresh blood. All you have to do is record yourself saying the below lines of text and the best voice or voices will win.


Please record the following lines each as a separate audio clip.


  1. The race will start shortly
  2. Maze Day!
  3. Welcome to the Tunderdome!
  4. Two men enter, one man leave!
  5. The cells are now opening


Feel free to do some or all and if you want to change the wording you can as long as it means the same thing. And I will take any audio format just stick everything in a zip file and upload it to your host of choice.
 
I put a note on my desktop to do this, so I oughtta have a chance tomorrow. My house is pretty quiet and makes a decent recording studio, and I have hallways available for fancy acoustics haha.

Can we have a few "versions" of each phrase, like "normal", "Kool-Aid Man impression", and "intercom", or just one of each to keep one person from stealing the show?

You can make as many different recordings as you want im just only sticking one of each type in the map. And you dont need a recording studio just 5 or so min of quietness :)
 
I'm working on mine. Unfortunately, they'll probably sound kind of messed up since it's winter and even on good days like today (a whole 4 degrees last I checked, but at least I don't have any cold symptoms haha) my sinuses are kind of clogged up >_>

Preview: I came up with the line "Keyboard Manufacturers agree that when two men enter... one man returns."

I should have a career in advertising.

I'll be the first to admit these are pretty bad, but on the bright side, a. they're actually just me doing voices through a microphone with no fancy effects (other than the thunder in one of them), and b. it's failjail, so if they're a little odd maybe they'll be just right (and c, I've never actually TRIED doing voices for anything)

They're pretty quiet, but I decided not to change them since you probably have other sound effects and you'll want them all at the same level. I have my volume lower than most people's anyway, so they probably seem even worse to me.
