I actually enjoy this game more than I thought I would.
Looks like I'll be busy with TF2, BC2, and AC2 this coming March. Le Sigh.
 
Just bought it, got it downloaded and played a bit. I'm getting rocked, but it's still fun.
 
Yea once all the full game is out and all the unlocks are available I'm sure we'll see some crazy fights
 
It's a lot of fun and it's definitely eye candy. I just hope they fix the problems within this month of beta, considering it's really close to launch and there are a lot of issues.
 
So did everyone get my friends request? It sucks playing without any eGO members.
 
I got the beta :D

And so far I'm loving it, my favorite kit is the Assault kit, I love just diving straight into the action. However I miss going prone, because I feel like a sitting duck as the sniper. The graphics are great, and the game mode is fun and refreshing. I'm definitely buying this game when it comes out and I look forward to playing on eGO servers :)
 
i dont think the friends list is working...its kinda messed up...i get pples friends request...accept it...bt my friends list is still 0/0
 
I can't really decide which graphics are better between this and MW2. Mostly I'm comparing the map Derail to this one because of the snowy environment. I kind of want to put my vote towards MW2, it just seems a lot smoother and cleaner. Physics are a no brainer of course. But I'd be much more interested to see a desert map compared to Afghan on MW2.

The bugs so far for me are, often times it'll auto-run. Meaning it goes a direction by itself. Another would be the sprinting would completely not work. Oh and Steam In Game isn't working. It shows I'm playing but the Shift-Tab feature doesn't work.

def this no questions asked...mw2 is basically mw graphics...bc2 is a totally new system and its really highly detailed...plus it uses direct x 11...so yea

BC2 is not new, its the Frostbite engine that the original on the consoles used.
 
its actually the frostbite 2 engine... and also its in the beta so of course it has some problems,@ shadow, to fix try deleting all inputs in ur controls under the joystick section, worked for me. Also for graphics mw2 has more detailed textures but the map is not interactive like bc2, which is still detailed just not as good to save your comp.

i meant new system of gameplay...lol as compared to modern warfare 2...as in basically every game you play on bc2 is different and you rarely get bored of the game.
 
This game has been rockin. Even with the bugs, its awesome.
 
Finally after 2 days I unlocked all the unlocks you are suppose to get in this demo :D

Favorite class so far is sniper with the pump shotgun/1911/c4/speed perk/shotgun perk
Reminds me of some good old 2142 with the support class with the semi auto shotgun was alot of fun on Gerbalter or what ever map it was called.

Great fun!!!

Going to take some screen shots tomorrow so hit me up if you want to play :D

Pro Tip: You can kill a solider with the Defebs/smoke grenade attachment/drill
You can also kill an enemy vehicle with the drill too.
I have yet to kill someone with the vehicle tracing dart but time will tell(have hit people with it in the head but no dice. Must be a guy at like 1hp to do it I guess)
 
Not sure where you guys are getting your great graphics from. Even on max the textures are awful. I can find better textures is games 6 years old. And the way it performs, it should look photorealistic. But this might have something to do with keeping the client size small. Either way, I'll reserve judgement until the final product is out.

On another note, I was in a one on one duel with someone, they emptied an entire clip at me and missed almost every shot. I killed him with a drill as he tried to reload :).
