my computer is taking forever to install pbsvc_bc2.exe

just in case anyone who didn't preorder wants a chance at the beta, there are sites that are giving away beta keys, for example badcompany2.com is giving away 10000 keys over the next 48 hours (20 keys every 15 minutes) on their site and 500 keys on their twitter... just fyi...
 
This is an amazing game! I love it and don't regret buying it. It definitely blows MW2 away.
 
The controls feel somewhat stiff but you get used to it. I got used to it in approximately 5 seconds and then the game could begin. The game is really, really, really awesome. The graphics, while not top of the line are quite sufficient for the game and it runs smooth on my rig.
Sniping = Fun.
 
GAME ROCKS!!!! Some errors and glichs that need to be fixed but no game killers what so ever!

Playing on my LAPTOP at high everything but shadows AAx2 1080x768

9800gts
4gig ddr3
win7 64bit

Just got done playing some beta. Real good game, Ran nice and smooth for me. :thumbup1:
 
I just pla- oh wait I didnt, because dice dont feel like releasing anything yet

(pissed off that I could never even get passed the loading screen without freezing)
 
i have it installed now...but everytime i go into the server browser the game crashes.
Anyone have the same problem?
 
The game is unplayable for everyone right now. It crashes to desktop while trying get the data for the server browser.

For the amount I played, it's pretty fun. But the games performance to visuals ratio isn't very good. For me, it played worse that Crysis and it's no looker compared to Crysis. For the record, I run Crysis on 1280x960, all settings maxed 8xAA with no problem. I am running BC2 on the same resolution, with everything on high minus shadows with 2xAA.

Edit: If you have a DX10 card, it will automatically use Dx10. If you edit the settings file, you can set it to use 9. Might give a performance boost.

Lucky, I never even managed to get in a server while they were up

it always froze @ loading screen

(yes I have updated drivers)
