pci.sys stop error

i just got a new HIS 4670 Radeon Video card. after installation i updated the driver and catalyst. now my computer takes an extra minute to turn on and i get a stop error when turning off the computer. the stop error says pci.sys - address B9F6AAB9 ......

Windows XP Sp3
2GB Memory
3.2 P4
HP Pavilion d1000y

did some more research and checked device hardware. noticed that this video card comes with hdmi out. so i noticed the high def audio was not working properly. since i have a sound card i unistalled the high def audio which was in pci slot 1 (pci-x slot). after restarting there was no stop error, but did still take longer to start up. once start up complete windows alerted me device installed correctly and please restart. once i hit okay the stop error came back up.

okay i answered my own problem. but this is my first video card with hdmi out. so now i know you must disable high def audio, not uninstall because it will just reinstall and create the same problem.
