I need that game so bad. Is it any good? I'm sure it is, but I need some opinions not from video reviews.

I am enjoying it. I like the comic graphics to it. Pretty fun game.
it is a good game. it depends what type of player you are too. if you're the type to enjoy a game for a month then never play it again or something, then you should wait until it goes way down in price or just skip it entirely. i played it for like 3 months straight, still really like it, but im taking a break for now to play other games (cabal and far cry 2) but its the same thing. i'll take a break from them in a few months and go back to the old classics, like borderlands

You don't get any hosting issues because it runs in the LAN section, unlike gamespy which is messed up. My gameranger id is haggus mcgee btw.
Oh and on that note, the game is ONLY good if you play multiplayer. It's the most fun social game i know thats right, better than l4d (without meeting new ppl). Voice communication mandatory. You can complete it on single player, but it is not really fun and way too easy. As soon as you throw teamwork into the formula, it's like magic. 10/10. The reviewers seen on metacritic had no friends btw hence the unamazing press >_>
PS. 1st DLC is good at any rate, 2nd you really do have to have friends and be lvl 50.
