Consistency Error when joining jail server

Hello, a few months ago a friend told me about this server, i had fun playing on it with my custom skins and such and then i quit CSS for a while, yesterday i started playing again, but today when i try to join i get a consistency error for the AWP model. Now i think this has to do with me having custom skins for almost everything in the game, but is their a way to play again without deleting my skins?

ummm.... i would say no. as far as i know you have to get rid of your skins

that is strange. I used to have custom skins and i never had problems with joining the server, but it also depends on the skin. Make sure that it is installed correctly, if it is, then it may just be the skin that you have.

delete:
clientregistry.blob
steamgui.dll
steam.dll

this will force a platform update and your problem should be fixed..

Well by some miracle i was able to join again, played for about a hour before losing connection to server, now im getting it again. Im going to try what 3vl said and i will tell you what happens.
