Edit:

- Your processor speed is slower than the one on the page, but it's an i7 with 8 threads so that may or may not make up for it.
- You have 4GB of RAM which is perfect.

dont get it.........how much are you paying for it??? $1,700 !!!!!

thats way too expensive, the CPU is good but the GPU is lacking

If your paying that much, get this

same CPU but an amazing GPU, tons better than that HP one.....this was just shown at CES and is epic

i7-720 + 5870 = epic win for the price

I had no idea he was paying that much for it, and I agree, it's not worth that much. The one you linked is quite epic.

but i can get that hp for 200? less so i don't know and for that other one I have to pay for shipping cause here you can't buy asus

If you're going to spend that much might as well look around some more for one geared towards gaming. I think with the exchange rate, this one should be about the same price.

Granted the body on that laptop is generic I'm sure you can find some companies based somewhere near you so you can find yourself a decent shipping rate. There's also plenty more builds of all shapes and sizes. The company that owns the base build to that particular style of laptops is Clevo I believe. You can also just as easily buy these through Cyberpower. There's a wide range of companies and locations just search the model builds and I'm sure you'll find a bunch of locations.

I would suggest looking for a laptop that includes the NVidia 260M or better yet, the 360M GPU. They will perform about as well a Desktop NVidia 9800 GT card. These can be found on some laptops in the $1,000 USD range. If you aren't ripping videos then the Q9xxx quad processors will handle about any game out there as few games currently take full advantage of multi core.
