Different approach?
When providing servers for the community, it is never possible to satisfy 100% of the members. Most of the configuration of the server is subject to change, based on the feedback/opinion of the MAJORITY of the people.
So, the 1st question/poll should be:
Does the map cycle need revising?
Let the community decide if the current setup should be changed!
I have a process in mind, for how to determine what maps to use, based on community feedback, but it requires a few motivated individuals for it to succeed.
In general, though, most gaming "providers" of Source based games (TF2 / CS / INS, etc) have at least 2 servers, one "static" map server (eg. 24x7 Dust2) and another with a small map rotation (3 or 4 maps).
As Ice hearted killer said, eGO doesn't have the money to add a new server to the mix right now.
Personally, I think the Dust2 server was a good call, as it has helped me in the transition from CS to INS.
