Google Wave is a self-described "personal communication and collaboration tool" announced by Google at the Google I/O conference on May 27, 2009.[1][2] It is a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking.[3] It has a strong collaborative and real-time[4] focus supported by extensions that can provide, for example, spelling/grammar checking, automated translation among 40 languages,[2] and numerous other extensions.[4] Initially released only to developers, a "preview release" of Google Wave was extended to 100,000 users in September 2009, each allowed to invite twenty to thirty additional users. On the 29th of November 2009, Google accepted most requests submitted soon after the extended release of the technical preview in September 2009; these users have around 25 invitations to give.


ok so i ahve got invited to google wave and thought i would share my invites with you i ahve 25 thats all and 5 are taken to friends so 20 ppl can have 1 i need your email to invite you you can pm your email.

Nice, I just noticed I have 25 invites too. I haven't actually used Wave since I've been invited though...

I got invited to use it by my friend. I used it once and never used it again. I might try it agian once it has some more features enabled.

Google wave is pretty nice depending on what you want to use it for, however once a wave gets really big your browser will just completely shut down for a minute while it loads. And then the second you scroll down it happens again. Especially when people post videos. Maybe once it's optimized a little better I'll consider using it more.

ya iv had it quite for a while not seeing much use for it right now due to too little people on it and the slowness.

but once it gets optimized and released to the public i can see a lot of personal uses and uses for my business.

especially with embedding waves in websites.
i hope it is possible for people to post as guests to the embedded one once it releases.
