I still think you should have some more skill and respect FOR YOURSELF and no camp
 
i love when people complain about spawn camping on orange fight arena. and i think everyone understands what im saying

Orange Fight Arena it is legal to spawn camp thats one of the the things that makes it intense, now if you continue to spawn camp and dont try to capture the last flag, that is griefing and is different
 
ok guys, this has been discussed time and time again and the same result is always reached. what wanderer posted is 100% correct, there are no exceptions.

The only reason someone shouldnt know this rule is if they are new to eGO or do not read the forums. im sorry stonefury if you got upset by people saying you were spawn camping but the next time someone does it tell them they are wrong and that johnT agrees with you. Ass for the orange maps. This has also been talked about over and over. Orange maps are a free for all, there are no weapon restrictions, there are no rules. spawn camping is allowed, map exploits are allowed, its a free for all.
 
If the same result is always reached, can I turn to the objective of this thread, putting this result on the MOTD. As of course, no one will take my word for it. If its officially posted on the MOTD, I rest my case. Except for your orange server.
 
we cant put every rule that we have in the motd, and plus most people that complain about rules in game dont even read the motd. I think the easiest way to confront this is just to quote what JohnT said and tell them that if they keep bothering you, you will report them to an admin for harrassing you.
 
People who don't read the MOTD don't know who JohnT is. It'd be easier to tell them to refer to the MOTD instead of argueing about who JohnT is and whats his say in it. I think it would be more difficult to explain, by word of mouth, that spawncamping is allowed versus telling them to read the MOTD. I've seen a lot of people gripe about a rule, we tell them to read the MOTD and its discussion over. I think this issue is important enough to be put on the MOTD. It only takes 1 line of the MOTD to post the rule. It's not like there has to be a paragraph on the rule. I'd put it like this:

Spawncamping does not exist here, so don't complain about it.
 
I've never seen spawn camping as a huge problem. Easily dealt with as eGO rules has our own view as what spawn camping is.
 
at strand there is an easy way to counter spawn camping... and as soon as i find it out i will tell u guys

Sorry, I don't have time to read all the posts here, but I assume some of you have stated this position already. The OFFICIAL RULE regarding spawn camping is:

Never shoot anyone as they spawn, regardless of where you shoot them from. The only exception to this is on STRAND. Since the Axis can mow down the Allies on the beach as they spawn, the Allies can camp the door leading out of Axis spawn.

this is only my opinion
if you can kill them before they even get a chance to move, thats wrong
if your just around the corner and shoot them in the back as they take their first few steps, thats cheap
if your running around in the builds near/next to their spawn, thats free game (still annoying)
