And i know its 80% effiencent, i also filted that in at the website. I gave me 500watt total.

And another question.... Do all motherboards use the same amount of watt? And how much does a motherboard need? 20 watt?

those calculators are accurate if you're inputting everything correctly. and 80% full load usage all the time is what psu's are rated for, so you can essentially use 440 watts of power on your 550w psu at all times without a problem for quite awhile.
the only time you may be stressed, depending how many monitors you have or pci/sound cards and all that crap is when your video card is at full load...because it will pull about 290 watts in total.
you should be fine tho really

I,ll prob buy the phenomII X4 945e, uses onle 65 watt. Same ammount as the 1 I have now.
And how much watt does a motherboard use?

well the 945 is am3 socket, and you have an am2+ socket motherboard. it will still work but your motherboard will limit a couple of things with your CPU. nothing drastic, just probably HT speeds and that type of crap....nothing that will effect performance enough for you to notice really.
motherboards can use a variety of watts depending on the motherboard its features and the bios settings. you can search yours in order to see if you can get a number for your specific mobo, but i think that would be very difficult to find out

like say my system only needs a 550w but i put a 1000w

Blazer, I've never heard of having too much excess power in your computer you would just simple be able to hold more load in future upgrades without upgrading the psu a second time.

ya pretty much...the only bad thing is extra cash spent. you don't really need to spend the money for a 1000w if you'll only ever need a 650-750

Yea it cost extra money but.... if i keep my 550Watt PSU i cant overclock. Sow i'll just wait a couple of months. Maby till me birthday. ( May ). And then buy for like 400$ new components.
