Decent, Bad, or Good Computer?

-[ I'M NOT GETTING THIS COMPUTER]-

My local computer store Krex is selling this computer for $999.96 and my mom doesn't want to buy from newegg =/. How does this computer look? Or should i just customize a computer if its that much.

holy crap, definitely build one yourself. im sorry your mom doesn't like newegg, maybe try tigerdirect?? but you can definitely get a better rig than that for that type of cash....it basically doesn't even come with a video card! lol. so think to buy something else would cost you an additional 300 bucks in and around

edit unless you need something full including a monitor, then it may be best to get something complete like that...but that is pretty ridiculous especially since it doesn't include a monitor i don't think

editedit considering the rig i have below cost me under 1000 bucks CANADIAN let alone american...tho the prices would be much closer together now that the dollars are pretty close, either way...ya

Yeah, when I bought my computer like 2 years ago from the store I had a guy that said just customize he hooked me up with everything. Well when I went there today the guy who was working there is just like get this one. In my mind I'm like 1,000 dayum man i see people getting better computer for that price. Hopefully when i go in there someone else is working there who actually plays pc games and can hook me up.

edit. Yeah it doesnt even come with a monitor lol... I'll print out what metro told me to get and show them see if they have those specs or something close to it.

I would say decent for the price but the difference of price between i5 and i7 is not alot and give better performance.

And i don't see your RAM ?

If your having to buy from a store I suggest finding something with a better graphic card. Something like this. That computer is alot better then that one, I would go with it over the other one if there is a bestbuy near your house.

thats a pretty good deal for that bestbuy computer, compared anyway...especially if you're unable to buy parts separately from a place like newegg
