I just went to FPS banana and while browsing skins i got re-directed to a web page that resembled My Computer, it then proceeded to tell me i had a harmful virus on your computer click okay, it said my town and local PC name on the my computer screen, and it started to download a virus, luckily i closed all of it and caught it in time, Fps Banana = Virus

i got the same exact thing as well its a trick hahahaha itl show something resembleing my computer a windows xp version then the page will proceed to download something xp would and it will flash saying something around 500 viruses and folders will flash, it will then have windows pop up and say click here to download a virus protector. if you notice the whole time ITS A WEB PAGE. if you click back or click reload OR ANYTHING.. ITS ON THE WEB BROWSER NOT AN ACTUAL WINDOWS WARNING.

i have windows 7 so that site fails hard

FPSBanana is a safe site, but the ads they use to pay for the site are extremely sketchy. Usually they are quick to get any ad like that off the website. Good thing you got off the site fast enough.

I never got any virus from from fpsbanana..

Yeah, I got it to, I was like what the? I have Vista (EWWW) and XP pops up for viruses.

There is a string of these Ads going around that are making it past the screening process. Not just FPSBanana, but many other sites get these also. They generally last about a day until they are reports to the Ad network.

True true i was using chrome when i went to that site, firefox with adblock plus would have helped quite a lot.
