I think the results say it all.

Ventrilo Win

Change is good, less spammers, more money for servers, more control, more customizations.. clearly we should switch to teamspeak. I vote TS3

Unfortunately people tend to stick to things they know so theirs no chance of TS winning this vote.. :/

Teamspeak 3 > Ventrilo > Teamspeak 2

TeamSpeak3 all the way!
I reckon most people here are voting Vent, 'cos that's all that they know.

Ventrilo is much more user friendly. So vent gets my vote!

vent lags me and I have used teamspeak for 5 or more years had never had a problem

Ventrilo for 2 reasons : High quality and you find more people using it

I remember back in the Roger Wilco days! After using Team speak for several years, and then using vent this past year, I've grown fond of vent. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Then again, if team speak is offering better rates for their servers, it might be worth the switch.

Teamspeak FTW, Better interference same voice quality, and cheaper servers!

Ventrilo all the way, it is much simpler to use and we have been using it quite nicely for over 2 years

I'm definitely an advocate for TeamSpeak - you don't have to pay licensing fees for servers. With Ventrilo, you have to have an agreement with the company and pay licensing fees. That doesn't jive well with how I like to run all my own servers.

I used TeamSpeak for a long time before started having to use Ventrilo for various organizations, and really believe that TeamSpeak is the better of the two product.

Actually, Teamspeak doesn't require a license so it would be cheaper, that way we could host it on one of our boxes instead of paying more at a retailer.

Anyway, after using teamspeak, and seeing the features it has to offer admin wise, as well as client side, I vote Teamspeak. However it would take some getting used to.

if it's cheaper, why not teamspeak? i've used both and could go either way

Ventrilo. Features as far as the eye can see, summarized to administration is made much easier in Ventrilo, and everyone here is already used to it! :)

i tried Teamspeak I thought it was garbage, hassle to get on it to. Imo
