TRYING to learn Photoshop

Hey all... i'm attempting to learn photoshop... if anyone wants to help me learn it would be greatly appreciated

This site has a lot of free tutorials to follow to gain an understanding of the program (you need a forum account to access the free tutorials, of course)

Just remember not to get frustrated and you'll be ok.

Trial and error my friend. I'm teaching myself, no tut's.

Tutorials would be easier to learn the program. Trial and error can only go so far. Plus trial and error can be even more aggravating then a tutorial in a different language. Lol.
If you take a class on Photoshop, it's basically tutorials, just elaborated, and you have homework. HAHA

Well, usually when I'm trying to find tuts from youtube, I don't really get rick roll'd..
But yes that happens sometimes xD

This isnt anything specific to photoshop but it is very useful if you want to make an image (or render) darker and in most cases appear differently/better.

I used this on my team fortress 2 sniper sig. and you can really see the difference between the sniper in the image and the one in the sig (besides being flipped lol)
