Ok, so as of now i have a 8800GTS and it overheats on me and doesnt crash but when it gets to a certain temp it gives me video lag..

and i have use nTune for the fan speed does help some but not much...

i possibly will be able to spend at least 150bucks on a video card but it has to be from bestbuy.. cause i no longer can use paypal.

i was thinking the 9800GTX+ by PNY.

or regular 9800GT

or GTS250

Specs are:
Proc: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66GHz OC'd at 3.10GHz
Ram: OCZ Blade 4gigs DDR2 6400
Mobo: Asus PK5PL-CM<--1 PCI-E x16 Slot

Any Suggestions will help a lot.

9800 GTX+ and the GTS 250 are virtually the same card. Both of them are only a marginal upgrade from the 9800 GT, so I would advise getting a faster card than that.

Do you not have a bank card you can use to buy something from newegg? It will be a lot cheaper, and you can get a far superior selection.

Nope, i don't.. and i would use newegg but parents wont let me use there paypal and il pay them back so i gotta use best buy lol

Keep your eyes open, bestbuy and microcenter will occasionally have the BFG GTX 260 216 core for $169 .

NEWEGG IS THE BY FAR THE WAY TO GO. If it comes down to it, open a bank account , deposit the money, and make your order online. Newegg sometimes has the EVGA GTX refurbs for $139 last i recall, but do notice the prices have gone up a bit from 6 months ago...

how are you buying this online? or are you going to the store to buy it? why not check out a local pc shop around your house, they might have something in stock or might be able to get you something you want as well.

If your spending the money, why not get a Radeon 5770 if possible, its a little over your budget at $160 but youd at least have a dx11 card for when more games are released that use it.

id say if the card is still good just buy a a add on fan from new egg for about 20 dollers thats what i did and it helped
