Go to your Control panel, and Add and Remove Programs (Programs and Features if Win 6 or 7).
Remove Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0 if it's installed. (I bet it is)
I would also suggest removing any .NET Framework 1.1 packages that may be installed.
Also note: ANY GUI overlays including, but not limited to, XFire can cause a kick as well. You must disable in-game overlay while in COD4 until PB gets off their lazy ass to fix the issues.
