no doubt it is a cheap psu, but he has a cheap budget. the 750tx cost me 120 bucks canadian, thats 3x the price of that, but that one will work just as well for the time being. it might not last 5-7 years like ours will but it CAN last a couple years or else they would never sell.
just a bigger chance of it being DOA or not being able to handle as much as it says etc. but i think for a rig like his which isn't a monster you don't need a monster psu for a monster price.
however i definitely am a fan of the corsair psu's. these things are bullet proof

I chose Ultra because the price at the time was $49 free shipping and the quality is just awesome, now it's $69 but completely worth it. Also, a lifetime warranty.

Ultra is like a no name brand right?? only available to stores like Tigerdirect/Circuit city and stuff??

again that ultra has low amps across the 12v rail. would probably be fine for a 5750-5770 but i doubt you could get a better card and you certainly wouldn't be able to crossfire because the lack of amps as well as pci-e power connectors

Ultra's attempts at high end PSU's are complete failure. Their low-mid range are decent.
