Hey, just an update to everyone that was looking to participate. Openings are still there for those of you that could not make it today! Drunkenfetus, Mohawk, Sillybear, and I had a match against USMC, which to say the least was a difficult match, but definitely gave us some experience in playing with one another. Anyway, to get to the point aha,
We lost 2-0 on Buriz and again communication was our issue so this is a request for an eGO to set up a communication training class on one of the Thursday and Sunday sessions for all members,
Thanks, Cadet

Comms!

I find that in the public free-for-all games, knowing the names of places on the maps is key!
ie. "He's behind that building, on the left" or "There's a guy lying behind that pickup"

Those are useless!
Short and accurate is what's needed!
"One marine, behind right building Alpha"
or
"Unkownow left window spawn" (usually with RPG ;))

I'm still learning the maps, and I have a slight stutter, but I know the theory :-P
Quick and efficient comms often is the difference between life and death of your teamies!

That's a good point, but at the same time, you may not know the names for all the places.

Wtb a map where the main places are named plox, for all us euro people who cant make bootcamp and such ...

IF your euro get with ICE hearted Killer, we are going to compile a list to get you guys help off hours.

Also to extend more on Cadets post, the problem is that eGO is very big, and all the teams that get play are just of people that are avaialbe.

USMC has specific guys that compete and only has 1 team, they all know and play well with each other.

If you want to have better matches, i recommend you start your own team with people that can commit to matches and the importance of knowing each others play style.

I allowed eGO to make as many teams as you guys wanted but no communication or dedication with the exception of a few. This isn't acceptable, if your going to compete and be serious then make yourself a team and take it seriously.

I am.

If you just want to show up and have a 5v5 on days we match that's fine get in the two teams i made and battle it out. Im about to combine eGO Teams together however, there is no organization at all form EGO which is quite a problem when i have LMC LIGS and other clans more organized.

yea i think we need to seriously work on that a communication thing because the last couple matches i been to i found that i was the only one calling out my location and death while the other guys just kept screaming

"move out move out go to alpha cap the point"

it makes a lot more sense if you say
"move out to alpha, I'm flanking on the right from the black car someone please cover me"

I think it's a great idea to let your team know where you are and where you plan to advance to "it might cut down the tk's if anything!

One of the worst things in scrims and normal games is

"omg he rpg'ed"
"wow how did he kill me here"
"wth that was a wall hack i cant believe that just happen".....................

It sucks to here that crap on the mic
try this

"damn he rpg'ed me in delta from the left door"
"wth he shot me on the roof from the ride side or charlie"

just a few of my ideas because i would like to win a ego match soon so.....

I'm also looking to join any team that is playing or would like to play another clan
