EDGEGAMERS CORPORATION WARDECED; SCORES VICTORY

Spirits are high as EdgeGamers do what EdgeGamers do best: punking punks and griefing griefers.

Less than 24 hours after the official start of the war with Murder Happens, EdgeGamers Corporation has already scored a decisive victory against their CEO. Murder Happens is a corporation renowned for their punks and griefers who made a terrible mistake by picking on EdgeGamers.

Combat erupted outside of the Sasoutikh Theology Council as the CEO of Murder Happens, Titus Veridus, attempted to tease members of the EdgeGamers Defense Fleet. The defense fleet consisted of EdgeGamers Corporation members Mopandbucket, Treasure Troll, Vlos Ktonos, Talthrus, and Blcknight454. Titus's tactic was to jump back and forth around the station evading our Defense Force. However, he eventually got aggressed and was therefore unable to dock. He was unable to escape due to a persistent warp scramble keeping him anchored to the spot. Webifiers and Disruptors locked him down tight, negating Titus's evasive maneuvers and targeting capabilities.

Mopandbucket laid the smack down on his Cynabal, a cruiser class ship, causing nearly 9,000 points of damage. Vlos Ktonos swooped in with the final blow, turning Titus's cruiser to a thin cloud of debris. Titus then attempted to escape to Gheth in his pod, but was tracked down by Treasure Troll who, with a carefully placed shot from his laser, eviscerated the CEO's paper-thin capsule. Titus lost a minimum of 250 million ISK in ship losses, not even counting any implant losses.

This is but the first skirmish among what should be quite a few. Spirits soared after the rousing victory against the enemy CEO. EdgeGamers will emerge victorious, as we always have in our never-ending fight against punks and griefers.

Thank you, EdgeGamers Defensive Fleet! Fly safe, and bring us to victory!

I killed a lot of people in Kalt Assault tonight. I didn't do nearly 9000 points of damage though, I did over 9000.

This report was written by AutoDMC, he is now our 'battle' report writer, he does a great job :)

Thank you AutoDMC

I miss Eve... I think I'm far, far too behind to rejoin and make any kind of a dent for months though. I have fond memories of my Two battleships and assortment of Cruisers and Battle Cruisers though. *Sighs*

And brovo to the author for a well put together report of the action, it fit the feel of Eve perfectly.

And in a final thought, let the punkers and the griefers beware... Edge is lookin' for ya.:scared:

Wardec is still up?! Damn! I want to mission in peace jeez!

Crap, sorry for the double post, no edit function. But yeah AutoDMC is an awesome writer. You should read his stuff on his website. Check out his cooking website too LOL! I used some recipes on there!

Interesting? Hmm? I purchased EVE a few months ago and didn't get to play it yet. I wouldn't mind joining a legion of evil dwellers out there in space and build a fortress of carnage and attack all our eGO bases. LOL!

Let me give it some thought!

Peace!

This post got me to look up eve, and now im seriously interested in it.
It looks sweet.

I'd like to try it out, but the thought of spending hours more gaming just does not sit well with my college courses. :)

I like killin stuff in WW2, modern times, and especially space!!! But i dont have an endless ammount of time and im not too good with complicated menus and indirect killing, skills that most rpgs require.

Eve looks interesting but i think im too retarded (and cheap) to get any good at it.

In short this is what the post is trying to tell you..

Another corporation declared war on EdgeGamers Corp (wardec = war declaration).

They thought we would be easy pickings, which some of our newer pilots are, as they are inexperienced pvp pilots.

Titus Veridius was being a punk, not allowing our members to do what they wanted to do, so we formed a fleet to deal with him, and his dual faction cruiser (Cynabals require the training of Gallente and Minmatar skills)

That fleet was made up of the following pilots, which eGO names won't be listed here for security sake..

mopandbucket
Treasure Troll
Vlos Ktonos
Talthrus
blcknight454

Titus' station games wre quickly put to an end, and he hasn't been seen in our system since.

When you make them lose over 10 times the amount they have killed, in one shot, they tend to become disinterested.

Basically the fight went down like this, mopandbucket undocked and attempted to engage the target, who continued to warp from safe to safe avoiding him. Mop then decided to see what would happen if he looked as tho he didn't care. Titus then aggressed Mop, making himself unable to dock, even if he wanted to. Mop gave the order on comms for the fleet to undock that a point was on the target. A point is either a warp disruption/scrambling module or a webifier. Mop was taking considerable damage from the Cynabal, but to no avail, as we had a friend nearby repairing any damage that was being done to Mop before it could mount up. The fleet undocked, and secured more points on the enemy Cynabal, slowing him down even more than before and began to rip into him. After his ship was destroyed, he claimed that he was lagging and that it wasn't fair, even tho he was the one who aggressed. His pod warped off to the next stargate and he jumped through, where we had another friend keeping an eye on the system. Once told about titus' location the fleet pursued him. His pod was sitting on the other side of the gate, not aligned, not moving. again we locked him down, set our points, waited til everyone was ready and popped his pod. Waiting for everyone ensured that they all got onto the killmail. A few seconds after his pod exploded, his character logged in, as all of the pilots involved had him in their address book, he had lagged out in the course of trying to escape... lol
