Finding Demos

EDIT: At this point I'm beginning to give up hope of finding the videos. I suppose what I'm looking for now is a way to change where my demos are recorded to, or another website I should look to for help since I have a unique problem apparently. I have considered re-installing but I shall wait until the weekend and use that as my last resort unless I can figure it out before then.

ORIGINAL: I've made one post about my troubles with finding my COD4 demos but I've not any luck as what's being suggested is something I've tried multiple times myself.

I record demos in game, I name them. I have a player for my demos. When I attempt to play them, I see the names of demos I have previously recorded when I'm in the player, yet when I try to play them, it cannot find the file.

Yes I realize my demos should be in Program Files, Activision, COD4, main, then demos. I have a demos folder that is empty. They are not anywhere in my Activision folder. When I attempt to do a windows search for any file names of the demos I get no results.

What I'm looking for at this point is a method to search for these files so I know where they are going, or a way to change the location of where my demos go so I can access them easier.

Have you tried searching for .dem
I think thats the format the demos are saved in -.-

EDIT:
Try
C: \Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\pam (You’ll need to make sure you have Show Hidden Files or Folders turn on)

I've tried searching for that format, it's .dm. I've also searched in the mods folder under the ModWarfare mod used for playing the demos, which also contains a demos folder that is empty.

Did you try in the location i gave you, because thats not the Program Files folder where the game data is

Try recording a demo, then moving it to your desktop. Record the next one, then move it. That way, its not getting deleted.

Sentenced I tried that location but under AppData all I have is a Roaming folder and beyond that there is nothing related to my videos. I also can't move the video to my desktop since I don't know where they're recording to <.<
