Direct Hit is easymode, but not as useful as the default rocket launcher.

I agree with this statement, I would say with the normal rocket launcher on our servers I get like 30% juggle shots and today after watching this vid I felt like playing soldier and I got atleast 80% juggle shots and most were on scouts. The direct hit is on easy mode, but i dont believe that its a bad thing if you can aim with it. It really is a beast of a weapon when used properly imo, just ask Ferb one of the scouts I was tormenting on turbine today . Here is a screen shot of my game play, not all was as soldier as you can see some backstabs and the reason I have a ton of deaths is cuz I was spy and changing classes back and forth alot. All of my dominations were by soldier though . One last thing, anyone know whats up with all these people on this pic that show up as friends, they are not on my friends list but show up here as friends...just wondering if anyone knows y.

The creator of the tutorial videos has much more than what I have accumulated as Soldier (I just reached 600 hours on Soldier alone). And I learned a couple of things from the second video. I learn and I improve with each passing moment the more time I spend with the Soldier.

I watched both videos and being a "ok soldier", I would like to point out the exection to the rule "the soldier that is higher always wins". This is true 99% of maps because the floors block all the splash damage, but custem maps like Blackmasa do have some of the floors do let damage thou(stairs and the railing over point A). But like I said I'm only an OK soldier by far no where near this guy's skills.

Yeah, the video won't account for non-Valve maps, because afaik, none of them have penetrable floors. Goldrush did at some point a long time ago, but not anymore. The stairs and catwalks in Blackmesa are ftl though.
