My build finished!!

If you have 2 of the same fans on your CPU cooler you will get much less turbulence and therefore lower temps and less noise.

Also, I don't think that the CM fans have very good static pressure, so you might want to consider some new CPU fans and just take the others and slap them on your case.

Other than that, nice OC, makes me want to go get an i7...

P.S. Clean up those cables!

Well the CM fans are kinda doing fine. I only have one of them on the Noctua anyway, and the middle one is still the 140mm. I did a little fan mod and put an 140mm in the 5.25 drive bay area. It happened to fit perfectly lol and all i did was put some good ol' scotch tape on the sides to keep it in place even though the thing won't budge. It dropped my temps like another 2-3C by giving my Noctua heatsink more direct cold air from the outside. I never go above 69C now on the hottest core and 58C on the lowest one.

Yea i can't really clean up the cables lol......theres actually only 1 cable that isn't routed and that the 8 Pin mobo cable. It's too short and wouldn't reach it if i routed it.

Overall, everything is doing fine now, nothing really to worry about. Atleast the case has postitive air pressure on the inside so i will get less dust build up now.

was searching the web and found some good stuff.

I must be a terrible overclocker. I followed this bios setting, and set a lot of the voltages to auto, and put my VDIMM back to 1.65.........i can get even higher than 4.2ghz stable and not need to overvolt my ram. YAY!!! :) no more possibility of killing my memory controller or anything.

Im testing to see how high i can go now.
I'm reaching about 4.3ghz with even less voltages than i was using at 4.2ghz

Yeah, jumping to a completely different platform can be confusing for overclocking. Going from my X38 and Q6600 to an i7 860 and P55 was quite the challenge to get used to.

wow thats epic, and no daisy chaining or however you worded it will not effect the fans at all, unless your psu can't handle it...but it can

Thanks........my thing has gotten louder definitely over stock lol, i have like 2x230mm fans, 7x120mm fans, and 2x140mm fans now including the ones on the Noctua heatsink.

Lol wow that is so messy haha. When I built my dad his computer, I had almost the exact same parts (i7 920, eVGA X58 SLI LE, Noctua NH D14, HAF 932, etc) and the cable management was pretty good. Almost all cables are hidden.
