hello peep's..1st post for me.iv been playing on your COD4 server and find it to be one of the best out there! i pre ordered the BF BC2 for PC yesterday and i played the Beta for about 3 hrs yesterday .so far im not impressed! i hope all the things i dont like about it will be resolved on the CD version..i understand it being a Beta that game play will not be up to par with the full version. i loved the old BF2 but this Beta is nowhere close to it.graphics were bad ,iron sites too big and cover whole body, tranks move slow,3 wheelers hard to controll.i killed 6 peep's in 3 hrs! all with a (nube tube)!but then again im 62 yrs old and might not see as good as you young whipper snappers! hope it gets better...lets just say i wont be unstalling my COD4 anytime soon!

It's a closed beta. Overall a very bad representation of what the final product will be. This build we are playing was already 6 weeks old when we got it. A lot of these problems have been already solved. This version dosent have high res textures so they dont look great. The movement is getting ironed out. High fov is getting put in place so it will fix your ironsight problem. So pretty much everything you have a problem with is being fixed. It alsohas the original game mode of all battlefields, conquest. No more small map that limits where to go, final has 16 new and very large maps. Oh and the reg is fixed so you should be able to kill people, its messed up atm.

You will be playing this for a long time. Ive beta tested almost all the battlefields and they were almost all meh in beta then amazing at release, thats betas for you... And not even an open one.

COD gameplay is completely different compared to BF gameplay. COD is pretty much acrimoniously speaking a dumbed down version BF. Whereas little to no vehicle gameplay, barely any teamwork/strategy, weapons hardly differentiate from each other, maps are ridiculously easy to predict and adapt, etc. If you like simple run and gun gameplay then COD is for you and should stay very very far away from the intricate and elaborate Battlefield franchise.
