New Nvidia GPUs Given Names!!!

lol who cares what the names are to be honest....ohhhh now its in the 400 series, that sounds extra advanced!!!
im gonna make my own graphics card and its name is going to be, "Over 9000!"

Nobody really cares, but it is good information to know. Now when we talk about it we know what to call it, which makes things a lot easier.

Wait so Nvidia is going back in time....

I have a MX 440, so am I head of them or behind everyone or just in time?
 
GTX 400 Series my bad, thought it was gonna be the GTX 300 too, also it's not 30nm process, it's 40nm, same as the ATi HD 5000 Series GPUs. It will also feature GDDR5 graphics memory. Intel is the only company manufacturing and marketing processors with transistor technology smaller than 40nm right now, for example the new 32nm Clarkdale Processors.

It will also feature 3.0 billion transistors, compared to the ATi HD 5000 Series which has only 2.12 billion.

The 400 series will come out when Duke Nukem Forever comes out (Yah I went there) besides the rumors about it's power requirements and heat makes it seem very, unlikeable.
Well that's just me, since I prefer to have a small computer with lots of horsepower so heat is always my concern.

It will be shrunk to 28/32nm Q4 this year.

Knowing Nvidia's troubles with production now, I wouldn't be surprised if they most of their workforce into the current gens release. The 28/32nm might be pushed back to Q1 of next year or very late Q4.
