battlefield bad company 2 instilation error

well i try to install the beta, it gets to the installing the c++ 2005 redistributable, and then it pops up with this "Error: the VC8 runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue."

i've tried running it as an administrator, i am running windows 7 32 bit.

what should i do?

Try uninstalling your current Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

fixed i just had to go to the setup file and put the "installVC8" to 0 instead of 1
