whilst the others act as permanent replacements (Cloak & Dagger).

I beg to differ. Spy is the only class I am really good at; days ago I was a C&D spy, but I decided to give the vanilla watch (which I don't use since the spy update) a try. It is extremely more useful and versatile than the C&D.

No its not sorry, most versitile is definatly the C&D and way better than the IW imo. The watch you use is based on your play style as most know, only problem with that is that most C&D spies lack any agressiveness to get the job done. Ive played against you a few times and you are a decent spy, but a good spy knows when to change watches to fit the map. I use C&D on most maps where as I change to the DR when I know there are a ton of demos and soldiers. You may just need more practice with the C&D is all :P.

Well, the weapons are okay, but overall, lots of people would prefer the default weapons. The C&D is what gets me sometimes, but thought it'd be useful, but eh, not anymore.

IMO, a very small list of the weapons should remain in the game because they were implemented well, but I honestly wouldn't care if it was reverted to TF2 with only the medic update. The introduction of the kritzkrieg and ubersaw were probably the most balanced (not comparing ubersaw to bonesaw, bonesaw needs to go die). But it doesn't matter, we're stuck with the garbage Valve throws at us.

IW is definitely better than Camp N Die in almost all cases. The only reasonable use that watch has is in small Arena maps with very little ammo packs, but even DR starts sizing up there. IW is much more versatile and if I was playing spy on a larger, balanced map like Granary, Gravel Pit, Badlands, Badwater Basin, Yukon, etc., I'd much rather have the IW.

Its probably that most dont know how to use the new watches to their fullest that people automatically look at the C&D and think that its a campers weapon. I use the C&D just like the IW and mainly use the cloak when running away so that if needed I dont need ammo to stay cloaked. I havnt played with the original IW and perhaps I should more often, its just I have so much fun with the C&D to really care about the IW. To each his own I guess, I have yet to see anyone use the C&D as good as I do just my opinion.

That's the problem with the IW, if you don't have enough ammo boxes to stay cloaked it will most likely run out and get you killed. With the C&D you can cloak, find a good spot and stay cloaked forever; but in the time you stay cloaked you could have gotten one or two kills.

Remember, xbox style tf2 has none of the updates we have had over time, it is tf2 as it was released, no level 3 dispensers or teleporters, no airblast etc. etc.

And with sv_cheats set on 1 by default...

>_>

The updated weapons bring a new taste to the game, whether it be good or bad but playing with all stock weapons isn't necessarily bad...Actually, I prefer all stock weapons for most classes =P

Hmmm, I kinda like my ubersaw and bluntsager as well as the flare gum. Vanilla TF2 just might be fun but we all like our new weapons.

Do you guys think Valve is going to keep on giving content updates after they've finished the Engineer, or do you guys think they'll just keep on going? (Medic 2.0, and so on.)

Same could be said for all watches and there is always a could of should of for all watches. Thats the thing, I dont stay cloaked forever with the C&D on alot of maps im an agressive spy and dont really camp. Others as ive seen stay cloaked forever it seems and dont really contribute to their team.

I dont think they will keep it going, after engi it will end.
