Sound not working

So as the title says my sound isn't working. It was working fine up until a windows update notification popped up and then my sound died on me.

All drivers say they are up to date, volume is normal but neither speakers or headphones work.

Before finishing this post I looked at what was installed with the windows update and it had something to do with sound blaster audigy (sound device).

Tried to roll back the update but didnt change anything.


Any help would be appreciated =)

Can you uninstall the sound blaster audigy? I've never heard of it before.

I used to have SB Audigy but it works extremely poor with Windows 7 64 bit.

Find the exact name of the card, Audigy 4, SE, etc. and find the name on that list.
