Headset ?

Is this headset a decent one ? Would it sound alright in game? I just want a cheap decent one that wont be all static or sound bad.

It is pretty good. I would rather go with a logitech just because quality would be a little better but yes that would prolly be a decent headset.

Well, if you guys could.. Im not really good at this stuff, could you find me a good deal on a good headset from bestbuy canada ?

I prefer a non-USB headset with separate cables for microphone and headphones. Any of the Logitech products would be fine. However, a new headset is not going to fix a slow or bad Internet connection or speed up a slow computer. I would hate to see you spend $30 and still have the same problem

Well its hard to say. What I do is read the reviews, a lot of times people will point out the problems it has (cheap materials, line disc, bad mic, etc) . Also after purchasing the headset make sure you keep the receipt because the headset can be uncomfortable... and this is a problem that you won't know until you actually try wearing it for 2-3 hours while you play.

As for myself, I purchased a $25 plantronics headset from Circuit City. It has lasted me for 2 years so far, the only part that I didn't like was the rubber cushion that sits on my ear, to solve it I just ripped off the cushion. But seriously, don't buy cheap ones because their cheap... I have experience in buying cheap headsets and you pretty much get what you pay for and I'm willing to bet they won't last you over 3 months. But remember just because a product is expensive, doesn't mean its good either.

i got this headset with a seperate mic. So i dont have that thing sticking into my face. I think everyone should get a headset instead of only a mic it sucks 2 hear the gameplay sounds thru anothers mic. So im glad 2 see that you r thinking about getting a headset and u already know how my mic sounds like.

Okay, thank you for all of your help, I might get the one Evil Betty suggested or the 14 dollar wal-mart one, blindsfell has the same walmart one I am thinking about, and whenever I hear him in game it sounds fine. If I get enough money I will spring for the one Easy recommended. Thanks alot guys,
