Best Video Card for CS:S

The title is "Best video card for CSS" but, the poll is "Which do you prefer?"

I know its not too logical, I kinda' slapped up a poll question a bit late at night. :mellow:

GTX 295/300! and ATI HD 5870/5970 Are best cards i know of, i think, Go for any Nvidia Geforce 8 or 9 series, GTX series is nice, ATI anything above 3650 i think

Really? 295 for CS:S... an 8800gt or 9800gt would be perfect.

I use my laptop... i have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 series. I play with all graphics settings on high. I usually play with it hooked up to a 19" monitor and it runs perfectly. It never crashes or slows down due to graphics.

Running a GeForce 7950GT here... CS:S runs like butter at max settings.

Nvidia is best for CSS. ATI cards screw up the lighting of CSS in-game. Example, the myst on dust2 becomes thick and annoying with an ATI card and it's impossible to remove, and the lighting on de_nuke looking towards heaven is brutal. Many professional gamers avoid ATI cards because of those reasons, also flashes tend to last a bit longer, again, lighting issues. I built an ATI system not long ago, I regretted every moment of it. Luckily we got sponsored nvidia systems a few months down the road at the LAN we won. If you buy a 9800GT you'll be more then happy with it...if you're running a laptop, my fiancee has a 9600M and it runs over 100fps on every map.
