For those of you who like to go "pics or it didnt happen"...my expert and intermediate best scores were done before I installed Windows 7, so unfortunately I don't have evidence of it, but I do have my beginner screenshot!

Byakuya's just jealous. I don't have have Photoshop and I barely know how to use Paint.

10 bombs in a 10x10 matrix, if they are scattered just right, you only need one/two clicks in order for it to auto-complete. Many people have 1 second games (first click auto complete).

Ive beaten minesweeper like twice in my whole life...and we're not talkn speedruns.

minesweeper can be won "instantaneously" by going to custom settings and making it the biggest possible dimensions and then only putting in 10 bombs.

How is this game played at all???

Basically, it's a mixture of luck and strategy. Click a box, a number pops up. That number tells you how many bombs are touching the sides/corners of the box you just clicked. Example, 4 would mean that there are 4 bombs around you that are touching either the side or corner of the box.

The luck part comes into play when you click a random box and hope that it's not a bomb. The strategy part comes into play when you run into a situation where 2 or more boxes can be bombs and you must figure it out.
