After catching a whole baseball game in 100 degree (Fahrenheit) weather and having a Coke, I'm going with water all the way. I'll have a Coke every now and again but I drink at least 3-20 oz (actually not sure) things of water before I go to bed, not to mention drinking water like crazy at school.
most of the things listed on his anti-coke tirade are actually false (although i have tried that myth where you put a tooth in coke for 2 weeks, and its actually noticably smaller at the end, but not entirely disolved)
in my humble opinion, as long as youre drinking water as well, pass the COLA!
haha actually, there was a medical journal entry a few years back that may have suggested that caffeine would slowly harm those that already had weak bones. But it's not a strong link nor is there enough medical evidence to suggest that. I don't believe at this time that there is any evidence linking carbonated drinks to the degradation of bones.
but you're right. soda is always bad. more than bones, it degrades the enamel of your teeth. More importantly, the sugar content is off the chart, unless you're drinking diet coke or pepsi max or something. High Sugar --> Diabetes --> Kidney Failure. haha
