Hello, every hour or so my computer's screen will turn black, and it will say: "Auto Detect: Entering Power Save Mode".

This usually happens when I am playing BC2, but my system meets the recommended requirements. I disabled sleep mode, auto-turn off, etc, but I am still having this problem.

Help!

Thanks.

IS this possibly being caused by the monitor itself and not the pc?

sounds like your video card is cutting out

This would be a bad thing as the card is brand new (GeForce GTS 250)!

We d/l CPUID HWMonitor and the temps all seem ok; have the latest drivers installed; made sure the power cord and video cable were plugged in securely....

Thanks for the help... Gulf and I re installed the drivers... I guess we'll see if that works when I get home this evening. (I hope so :()

:( Still isnt fixed... it seems to be getting worse. Cant play bc2 for more then 15 minutes without it crashing. I even play it in low quality. (And yet its recommended settings for my pc are high 0_o)

ok zippy for what u described it has nothing really to do with ur computer it self just the monitors......

what kinda monitor is it cuz if its a dell or hp its a easy fix .....

they have like a debug part on the power key it self so all u got to do is hold it for a couple of seconds and it usually resets its config.... (just make sure u unplug the monitor before u do it!!!)

if u have also monitor drivers try either updating them or getting a older version......
