EGO on GLobal Agenda

Hey guys! I'm hoping that most of you will be interested in trying out Global Agenda. This game is a great team oriented game, so using vent also helps out a lot.

Before you guys start worrying about the pay to play thing, let me kill the big bug. Yes, it is pay to play, BUT only for Conquest mode. In Conquest mode you have to be in a clan, that clan MUST have 10 online members to play, and you can make alliances with other clans to team up on other clans.

But that's only 1/3 of the game. A lot of the other stuff is completely free (after you've bought the game), like PvE (player vs environment/AI), and PvP (player vs player). You can level up the clan in PvP games. The clans in this game offer tax abilities that take a small percentage of "credits" (cash/coin/etc) and exp to help the clan.

I've been playing this game two days before it even came out and I'm honestly more hooked on it than COD4 (which until now has been my flavor of game).

So I hope you all join acefisher1 and me in this awesome FPS team oriented game. NO ELVES lol

Yeah, definitely! My user name is the same as on here: SilentSadist. My favorite characters so far are recon and robotics. Too bad my laptop only puts out at 10fps! sometimes I only even ever get 6 frames. *sigh* oh well, gotta save up some money and buy a desktop.

I love the game as well. Got in on the closed beta and have been playing since early launch. Absolutely love robotics. I think eGO would do well in Global Agenda.

Cool, what kind of things were shown to you in beta that are not yet released? Jet pack shop? Haircut changes? lol hopefully they get the component exchange set up soon. I hate doing 50 PvE's just to get 10 pieces of rusty plates. My impression is that the component exchange will allow you to transform/trade-in cruddy pieces for their larger part. Like quarters into dollars/dollars into $5, so on so forth.

So far nothing new. All the extra shops are still closed, which makes me sad. Supposed to be new content, shops, and stuff soon. Who knows when soon is tho.

Whole bunch of IRL buddies are flocking to the game. Caved in and bought it to join them. The WoW addicts - the types that play until four in the morning, then often decide to keep playing because they'd have to wake up in two hours anyway - are calling it better than WoW. That is a compliment that should not be taken lightly. Going to see what it's about. Probably going to try fill my role as a Rogue.

If it's something I wind up wanting to pay for to get the Guild/Clan experience, I'll be sure to hook up with you guys.

Nice, very nice. Just so you guys know: to MY knowledge, there is no official eGO clan. I am currently with clan NOX. I do have beef with the limitations(or lack thereof) of much larger groups on conquest. With conquest, your clan/agency has to have 10 online players at least. Also can split them into seperate groups to hold strategic points; however, the larger groups are taking up hella points because they obviously have more players. I'm just saying that this monopolizes groups. So if you get/have this game, please don't join a huge group, join a moderately sized group so that way you can help balance the odds.

Ya the free demo is good up till lvl 14 or something. It's a fun game but it is lacking in alot of stuff at the moment. I'm giving it a couple of month and I will try it out again to see if I could enjoy it.

rofl, you guys are coming out of the woodworks kinda late aren't ya? I suppose the dynamics of the game has changed recently. Now there truely are big groups/alliances that dominate, well, everything. One big bad disadvantage with AvA.

its not a bad game, can get a lil old, but with the new patch hopfully it springs forward a bit more.

Been part of RIP alliance for a lil while and almost had sovereign won had it not been for a few things, but havent touched the game in lilke 2 weeks cuz of SC2 beta, if eGO gets serious about it i may have to hop in and help.
