why is it i keep getting disconected i bought a new route and modem and got a ethernet cable.in my old house i never did. could it be my phone line and i use at&t please help

It could be that your running too many services or applications that require Internet.

Honestly, my friend, there are many reasons for connection failures. I would suggest pinging Dallas, TX with Pingtest and testing the same with Speedtest. Post your results here and let's take a peek!

We really need to narrow down the variables. Post the results, and then we'll move into phase 2!
