Problem for CSS .

I have a problem with my css ,and wondering if you can assist me on fixing this . All my other games work , tf2,Ins, ect . But Css . I load it and automatically closes. I have windows Vista on a laptop and my drivers are up to date. I tried reinstalling it , and others, but none has worked .
Processor : AMD Turion Dual-Core RM 72 2.10 GHz
System type : 32-bit Operating System
It has been happening alittle over 1 or 2 weeks.
Any help or suggestions ?

i had this problem, and all i did was click like mad when it came up...and it stayed then i changed the video settings and hasnt happened since idk if this'll help but its worth a shot

What did you change the video settings to?

We tried running the game at 800x600 and a lot of other things, but nothing.

well that happens to me sometimes, with all my games, all i do is restart steam, but im not sure if its the same problem tho

I have already restarted steam , reinstalled steam . None has worked D:

Do you get any error messages?

You can try starting CS:S in a small windows to see if it is a Video driver issue by putting this in your launch options:

-novid –windowed –w 800

If that works, reset your screen resolution back to normal then try to restart the game.
