Insurgency Crash on Exit

Whenever i close insurgency, it never closes properly, and instead bring up a "hl2.exe has stopped working"

Too be honest that happends with almost everyone of my Steam games, and if it doesn't close like that and I just quit it then if I want to go back to it without logging in and out of my computer is says only one instance of this game can run. Personally I think steam does this on purpose so you can play them game whenever you want.
