Question about my processor.

My processor speed is 1.30 GHz, and TF2 requires 1.7 i think? that is the only thing that my computer doesnt have, will that greatly affect the games performance if i get it? I know i can run Half Life 2 and Portal. So im wanting the orange box.

Is it a dual core?

Unless it's over 5 years old it should be.

what type of processor is it? Pentium 4? Core 2 Duo? Athlon 64?

You can check this in the device manager in system in the control panel.

If you have 1.3ghz with dual core you should be able to handle it

YEa my processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo. Plus my computer comes with a feature that allows me to switch my computer into "High Performance" mode, which at the cost of battery life, i get a 33% performance boost all around.

you SHOULD be able to run it. But you might wanna get a better processor sometime soon to keep up

Uh. eGO runs 32 player servers and whenever you run into people in Tf2 your proccesor takes a lot of work, tf2 is already heavy on the proccesor (REALLY heavy). There is tons and tons of particles flying around. With that low of a clock it's going to really bog it down, your not going to get very good frames.

I'm not sure you'll be able to run it, give it a shot though.
