i just got a hp pavilion dv7-3165dx, with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics card. I need help getting my games to go full screen when im playing, instead of having a 2" border on either side of the game.

Game options > Video. Set it too the right resolution that your screen is.

yea i tried that, but it didnt work

Is it the monitor itself?

Try using those buttons that are usually on the front of the monitor.


Persoanlly i just run everything in a window
