Mac Survives after being set on fire?

I worked on a G4 PowerMac once that was in a flood at a beach house. It was so bad that when I opened it up, there was a good 3-4 cups of sand inside. I was able to pull data off of the drive but it's so sad to see such a beautiful case turn to rust in just a few days.

Not to talk trash on mac because I think they produce beautiful products...
but I find this ironic. The first MacBook I owned - the hard-drive melted as well as the motherboard on two separate occasions.

Yeah the original macbooks had an overheating problem, mine usually gets hot but, not enough to melt anything. Right now my computer is running at 167 degrees Fahrenheit. I am web browsing obviously have steam and CSS running and have pages open the fans usually are at 2000 rpm but I have seen it go to 3000-4000rpm though.
